What I do:

I draw both fan art and original art. NSFW is also possible. (NSFW pieces will be posted on my journal here unless arranged otherwise. Please, follow NSFW tag unless you want to scroll through my other journaling there.)

If you want me to do an original art, please be sure to give me a good quantity of references or a detailed description. Please be as specific as possible about what you want. That makes things much easier for both of us.

I also work on commission that are for commercial use.

(Commercial use = using it in or for a business or directly/indirectly for financial gain.

For more info about pricing of commercial works, please see info below this post.)

Note me if you are interested in commissions. Be sure that you are able to provide an email (or other way of communication, I use Discord daily) where I can send WIP pictures (work in progress). In Deviantart I can use the stash to show you the progress.

Prices:

Keep in mind that what I can present you here are only the general guidelines and prices might vary as specifics dictate. (Etc. Complexity and extra characters might raise the price depending on how much work I estimate beforehand is needed to put in to fulfill your request.)

I only use PayPal. While paying, remember to pay for goods or services. This way you won't pay extra, I will take care of the service fee.

I start the work when I see the payment made in my PayPal. I notify you when I start working on your commission.

Please note that these prices are not for commercial use commissions. Please contact me to ask more about the commercial use prices.

Time:

Be aware that the time that I'll take to finish a commission might vary, depending on the complexity and available time.

I will do commissions in the order they come. I will notify you when I start working on your commission. You are always welcome to ask me how many commissions I have before yours.

Usually I will take one or two weeks to finish a picture. This time period starts from my notice. Please be patient.

I will contact you about any delays in work as soon as they come to my knowledge.

If you need commission for specific date or you have strict deadlines, please contact me freely and ask about the possibilities. Rushing a deadline may lead to an increase in price of the commission, but I will notify you about it.  If I have commissions before you, I will not rush your commission. Please note this if you have deadlines.

Copyrights and rights to post your commission on my site:

I'm allowed to post the finished product on my dA gallery and other social media without further notice, unless you request to keep it unpublished. I ask you to present me a reason for keeping it unpublished.

In commercial use we will discuss about the copyrights and use.

My style:

You commission me for my style, but I have ability to modify my style to fit the context. If your OC is from a certain show or universe, I can use the shape language of the context in your commission if wanted. But be aware, my handiwork will show through in some amount and that is a good thing. It would be quite a boring world if it didn't.

Progress sharing:

I will present you two or three sketches, you choose the one I use for the final product. You may ask for more sketches, but please be aware that it may lead to extra fees.

I will work based on the sketch you chose.

Why did you raise the prices?

As my school days are ending soon, I have started to work professionally so that I can pay the bills. Living in Finland is quite expensive and I have come to this conclusion that my earlier prices were quite problematic. Not only they didn't provide enough compensation of my time, they were also part of a bigger problem of artists undervaluing their work. This is a part of bigger problem as sometimes artists are expected to work for cheap prices if not completely free. Any kind of art is hard work. Those who have practiced the skills anddraftsmanship should be given better value. But as I underpriced myself, I was also part of this toxic mindset of undervaluing my and other artists work. That is also why I separated commercial work from normal commissions.

Also side note, give copywriters some credit. People think they can write well and good, but actually their texts have grammatical errors and could have used better word choices… That why you should hire a copywriter for your projects. My sis works in copywriter business and I feel like her work is so much more undervalued than my drawings. And she works so hard for her skills.

Commercial work

I will estimate the time I will work for the commission and give you a price based off of that. Please be noted my general wage for commercial work is 35e/hour. Please always be specific if your commission is for commercial use and contact me for more information.

Why commercial prices are higher?

I'm basically giving the license for you to use my work in monetary gain of somesort, was it a project or anything else. My other commissions are for no monetary gain, only fun for me and the client. If these works are used for monetary gain, the client has crossed the line for commercial art. Then we have a problem.

This is also fair for my clients in my day job. I am a freelance artist who does any kind of entertainment art for projects. These are commercial projects and it wouldn't be fair for them if I gave you a discount on these type of products. Just keeping things fair.
